What we offer
AN EXCEPTIONAL BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURIAL EXPERIENCE
To prepare students for this exceptional business introduction and entrepreneurial experience, this innovative program integrates five fundamental components: corporate business mentorship, business didactics, engagement with successful industry experts, a field trip to an incubator, and development of a meaningful Business Plan.
Corporate Business Mentorship
A corporate mentor will share with a mentee information about his or her own career path, as well as provide guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. A mentor will help with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts, and identifying resources. The mentor role may change as the needs of the mentee change.
There will be academic presentations from industry experts on various topics designed to introduce foundational components and concepts of business and entrepreneurship. Courses will blend intense didactical information and real-world experience to empower personal and professional growth.
Engagement with successful industry experts
Field trip to an incubator
The students will travel to an Incubator and Acceleration Company where they will learn the importance of an incubator which is to accelerate the growth and success of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services that could include physical space, capital, coaching, common services, and networking connections.
Development of a meaningful Business Plan
At the beginning of the program, each student will be assigned a mentor which will help the student develop, write, and present a meaningful Action Plan or Business Plan. The mentor will work with the student throughout the course of the program and assist with the business idea, composition of the written proposal, and delivery of the presentation. Each student will select a business they are interested in starting. Students will present before a panel of judges. At the conclusion of the program each student will receive a Certificate of Completion acknowledging their participation.

Students will be challenged to ask questions, think critically, communicate confidently, rethink traditional solutions, and enter a zone that will jettison them to a successful business career.

05. Donate your knowledge
Donate your knowledge. There is a beginning to every expert. Before you became a leader in your industry, you were hungry for knowledge and experienced an overwhelming feeling of desperation while searching for accurate information but did not have anyone to help. As an expert, your knowledge is of value to others. The YES Program provides the opportunity to share your knowledge to students gasping for this information.
06. Incorporate volunteering
Incorporate volunteering in the company mission. Encourage experts within your industry to volunteer their time and knowledge. Make a passion for social good part of your company’s mission so you and your employees can give back to the community together. Allowing employees to spend time out of the workplace lending their skills to causes they value can increase their job satisfaction and strengthen their attachment to your workplace.

10. More attractive to investors

Potential investors are becoming more aware of corporate social responsibility issues and may ask you for information on how you are addressing them before committing to investment.
